Social Media/SEO Internship-Spring 2012
Atomic Design & Consulting is in need of an intern to join our team to assist with social media and SEO for our wide range of clients!
TASKS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Creating content and brainstorming ideas for campaigns
- Monitoring social media accounts, trends and news
- Scheduling content for multiple accounts
- Some administrative tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be actively involved with social media channels including Facebook and Twitter
- Passion for the world of social media marketing, SEO and online marketing
- Strong writing skills
- Currently in school or a recent graduate
- Strong Internet researching and writing skills
- Detail-oriented and organized

REQUIREMENTS:

Junior Developer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Atomic is seeking a junior developer that has some experience maintaining and/or developing websites. Onsite training will be provided in the areas of website design & development, email marketing, search engine optimization, social marketing strategies, and web server technology. We are looking someone who can think analytically and come to management with suggestions for solutions, identify potential issues, and isn’t afraid to take appropriate action when needed. Proper writing and verbal communication skills are a must as well as ability to meet directly with clients. Candidate will gain experience working on varying sized client accounts from Fortune 100 companies down to local companies with a few locations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will perform update requests to client sites (typically simple text or graphic based requests)
- Will be responsible for email marketing sends
- Will perform on-page and off-page SEO techniques as well as develop SEO reports for clients
- Will be trained and responsible for limited web servers support (security certificates / general IIS / email setup / etc)
- Will be required to write at least two blogs a month for the Atomic web site
- Will be expected to participate in monthly training
- Positive attitude is a must
Bonus Consideration Points
- Experience with Joomla (huge plus)
- Experience with Dreamweaver (big plus)
- SEO & Email marketing techniques knowledge / awareness (big plus)
- Experience with graphic design programs such as Photoshop, Fireworks, and Illustrator
- Familiar with PHP/MySQL/Javascript/HTML/CSS/DHTML/JSP and other similar web technologies
- Experience with Adobe Flash (not critical)
This is a full time position with some benefits and salary is based on experience
