Social Media Internships

Our Social Media Marketing interns are responsible for bringing new ideas about digital media and creative energy to our team. Social Media strategy is always changing and we need Social Media Marketing interns that can help execute campaigns for our wide range of clients. The candidate must be passionate about social media and enjoy thinking out of the box!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating content and brainstorming ideas for campaigns
  • Monitoring social media accounts, trends, and news
  • Scheduling content for multiple accounts
  • Report building and research
  • Some administrative tasks

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Must be actively involved with social media channels including Facebook and Twitter either personally or for business / non-profits
  • Have a passion for the world of social media marketing and digital marketing
  • Strong writing skills
  • Currently in school or a recent graduate
  • Strong Internet researching and writing skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Positive attitude and a team player

EXTRA CONSIDERATION GIVEN TO THOSE WITH EXPERIENCE IN

  • Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google & Flickr and related websites
  • Location-based social media (Facebook Places, FourSquare, Gowalla, etc)
  • Hootsuite / Sprout Social
  • Adobe Creative Suite (including Dreamweaver)
  • Google Analytics
  • Some familiarity with Joomla! and WordPress
  • Attends SMC Dallas, Dallas SMB, AMA or other industry groups

Update: Covid has interrupted this; but can’t wait to start this again! Every Friday afternoon we get together as a team to discuss what’s been going on in our roles as well as generate new marketing ideas for our clients . We call this weekly meeting: “Think & Drink”.
